Two consecutive days of pigging out doesn't bode well for the numbers on the weighing scale.
But oh well, IT'S NOW OR NEVERRRRR since year 2 is gonna start in less than 4 days' time. (can it like never ever start again??? i love how carefree life is now)

070813 - RAMEN KEISUKE TONKOTSU KING FOUR SEASONS
Easily found the place using google maps and there was no queue on a weekday afternoon at around 1215pm. There's only 5 items available on the menu -- Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, King.
Most reviews I read said that the most tasty of the 5 items is the King, followed by the Autumn, so I just ordered the King hahahah. Claudia ordered the Winter because it's the most like the ones at Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King.
grinding sesame seeds to entertain yourself while waiting LOLOL.
King with egg - $15.80
the broth is super tasty when hot, just that it gets more and more jelat as it gets colder hahaha. Amount of oil, texture of noodles and smth else (i forgot) can be personalised according to personal preference. i LOVED the pork too. i would prefer this over their char siew any time.
Japanese Green Tea Cola - $3.80
DAMN REFRESHING AND NICE LEH though it doesn't taste anything like green tea. I would buy a dozen home to drink if only it's like $2 a bottle hahaha.
the decor at our area. the entire restaurant is separated into 4 segments. When you first go in, it's the spring segment with all the cherry blossoms, then it's summer (as seen above, where we were seated), and then autumn then winter.
Winter - forgot how much hahaha claudia ordered it
the soup base tasted different from mine. it's not as strong but still tasty. i tried a bit of the char siew and i didnt like it because it was a little hard and bland (or maybe it's just that part that i got). they are pretty generous with the charsiew though.

080813 - TIM HO WAN
reached the place at around 11.15am, and only got into the place at about 2pm
AND IT WAS ALL WORTH IT.
all photos taken with the iphone though.
GLUTINOUS RICE I LIKE.
didn't eat the hargao and the bottom right thing cos it was filled with veggie -.-
BUT THE MA LAI GAO (malay kueh) WAS DAMN NICE.
no wonder it's one of the four heavenly kings at timhowan.
Vermicelli roll with charsiew
i would say this is average hahahah
Vermicelli roll with prawn
also average but i like chee cheong fun so i like it hahahah
AND THIS... IS THE BEST THING EVERRRRR!
Must eat it the moment it reaches your table when it's piping hot. FREAKING NICE. So nice that you won't look at charsiewpaos in the same way again! They were generous with the charsiew and the skin is damn nice! It's like crispy + a little sweet and the thickness of the bread is just nice too! (i usually like my steamed charsiewpaos with thick skin cos i love the skin haha as in the dough la not literally the skin) Too bad every person is restricted to ordering only 3 pieces, so we only dabaoed 4 (we had 5 there hahaha #pig)
JUST THIS ALONE, makes the entire wait worth it.
Plus the fact that starbucks is just opposite, so we could get something to fill up our super hungry stomachs while waiting also haha.
osmantus jelly however you spell it haha
a little sweet hahah

Been having a lot of luck with food nowadays, BOTH ARE NOT OVERRATED AGAIN.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Though i would recommend going to timhowan after they open branches elsewhere and divert the crowd, so you wont have to wait so long.
