Fish & Chips - expensive lol but forgot exactly how much
4 pieces of fish and many pieces of potato wedges. Okay okay only hahahha dunno what's the hype about their fish and chips is about.
Drinks wise, i tried their iced mint mocha (since it sounded interesting) for $6.50 but for some reason i dont really taste the mint? but it was very very strong in claudia's opinion (prob she doesnt like mint) nothing worth taking a photo of so there's no photo lol
and i dunno how to comment on food and coffee evidently.
might come back to try their beef cheek tansmthsmthsmth lol some cheem name for some pasta which i dunno how to spell
Overall: 3/5 stars. expensive but the price doesnt really do justice to the food.

ROYAL PUDDING - $4
DAMN GOOD I SWEAR. First taste it reminded me of egg tarts/the HK milk pudding. But it just gets better and there's like some caramel like syrup at the bottom too hahahah just yumz la.
overall: 5/5 STARS JUST FOR THE ROYAL PUDDING.
Shiok? Maki - $16.80
8 pieces of this apparently SHIOK!!! maki. And i say apparently cos it's really not that shiok? Thanks sz for treating the rest of us this yesterday anyway hahahah really saved some money :D
there's like avocado (YUCK.) and unagi (YUMZ) inside and salmon on the outside (one of the two that i ate was partly sashimi though) the mayo sauce thingy was nice but probably fattening and as can be seen they are really generous with the fish roe too hahaha so if you like mayo and fish roe and salmon, do try this hahaha if not, can probably skip it.
But yes, it's one of those places where you just have to try at least once to see and taste it for yourself.
Never regretted going to Koh Grill & Sushi Bar. Located in a food court, but not food court prices haha.
I also ordered the Tokyo Ramen which was just normal and i found the soup a tad too salty as well, and apparently the tempura udon was meh. And i also read everywhere else that other than their makis (and some say their pitan tofu and salmon sashimi), their food is pretty much disappointing/not worth/just meh.
Would still like to try their 2nd gen shiok maki and crappy maki (sz was laughing at this name and wondering if it was for real lolol but yes it's named crappy HAHAHA) some other day though.
Overall: 3/5 stars? dunno if it's cos the standard dropped or that it has always been liddat. but it's really not worth the hype though it's still not bad by my sushi standards, the fact that they were innovative enough to come up with such a combination and that it actually works, and also that they are generous with the ingredients. however, service wise erm if not for the fact that they forgot our crappy maki order, i would say that they have relatively good service. we had to wait for like 5 min and someone came to attend to us (no queue yay!) but sadly there wasnt a table with 5 seats so we had to go to an area which is not under koh grill & sushi bar, but just a wall away hahaha. and so we had our own tea kettle (THEIR GREEN TEA IS FREE) lolol. and we also had to have our food passed to us over the wall. hmm so come to think of it if their service is really good they would walk the distance for us right hahaha.
