this post shall be long!!! and i shall try to remember as much as i can(:
(and i spent so many thousand days typing this out lehh. haha i lost interest in this some time ago but i am back now! )
pre day1:singapore
that's my mother and me at changi airport! haha they are having some promotion thingy lah. oh and i got a disney cushion cos of this promotion thingy (: but what i think is nice isnt out yet so i got a christmas design de.(too bad if i look too small :D)
i watched mamma mia! on the plane leh then i attempted to sleep. AND THEN WHEN I WAS TRYING TO GET TO SLEEP THE LIGHTS CAME ON AND THE STEWARDESSES(?) STARTED MOVING ABOUT. it was breakfast time -.- and erm it was like erm 5 plus i think or even before that haha. one of the earliest breakfasts i took -.- quite irritated at that point in time lah ):
day1 [221108]:beijing
when we reached beijing the first thing we did was travel a long distance and we were still in the airport lah. their terminal 3 is HUGE. we had to take a skytrain-like thing to collect our luggages haha. and their erm immigration officers(is that what u call them) have like this machine like infront their erm box-like thing they are in which asks us to erm comment on their work and it has buttons on it haha which says what satisfactory blah.
oh then when we finally got out of the airport, it was COLD! when we breathed out using our mouth haha there was smoke lahhh! :D okay not like i didnt see it before but it's like a once a year or once in like a long time kinda thing lorh
then we went for shopping at ya show! chinese is 亚秀 if i am not wrong haha! and near that erm shopping centre right there's this huge building which is nice to me haha with adidas and esprit and chow sang sang however u spell that! :D then there's kfc too and a supermarket. when i first walked into that supermarket i got high hahaha and i was like laughing then my parents were like asking me what's wrong -.- oops.

then when ya show was finally open, we went in and shop shop shop. btw it's an imitation market thingy lah so everything inside is like imitation and you can bargain bargain bargain hahaha! quite fun leh bargaining! the best deal was a wallet which they wanted 750rmb for lah. we bought it for 100yuan, which is about 20sgd :D but i dunno if it's bought there or at the other imitation market though
for all the meals except breakfast, we were to sit with the same people lah so we were arranged to sit with a family of six, consisting of 2 old aunties who happens to be the parents of the couple, who has 2 children one is 10 and the other is 3 (:
one of the aunties thought i was WORKING lah omg omg omg ): super sadddd!
i cant really rmb but i shall just say that we went to see the bird nest and water cube today! haha.
my father was REALLY EXCITED know =.= he's been looking forward to this day lah -.-
okay then er we kinda checked into the hotel after that.
then in the night we went for an acrobatics show! it was really like WOW AMAZING lorh! haha oh oh before the show started they were playing beijing olympic songs -.- and they had 变脸 lah but what i found most amazing was the 变装 one. the person will just walk walk walk then suddenly his clothes will change lah! damn amazing! the others were more erm normal lah, as in like u will see at other such shows de lorh.
day2 [231108]:beijing
today we went to then tiananmen guang chang! IT IS SERIOUSLY DAMN HUGE! oh when we were walking through the underground passageway right, there's this person who was selling newspapers who said that ANDY LAU PASSED AWAY lah. then for the whole of the remaining 7 days we were wondering if he really passed away!
oh and we saw the so called 鸟蛋 cos it looks like an egg. -.-
SEEEEE IT REALLY LOOKS LIKE AN EGG!): i look rather round in the photo! and my mother is so RED!
seee this is a police car! it reminds me of the car jay chou used in initial d leh to me that is!oh then we went to the temple of heaven, where the emperor last time went to to pray! IT IS SERIOUSLY DAMN BIG I WONDER WHY THE EMPEROR LIVED SO LUXURIOUSLY WHEN HE ONLY GOES THERE LIKE ERM RATHER RARELY! -.- oh and that place has a place which is surrounded by a brick wall which is like a circle if seen from the top. and this wall is special! if two people were to stay by the wall some distance from each other and speak towards the wall, the other person will be able to hear it. WE EXPERIMENTED WITH IT OKAY and it works : D
i went to the forbidden city also known as the imperial palace, once the home of emperors! AND AGAIN IT IS BIG okay! it has more than 9000 rooms lah. seriously luxurious! we saw a lot of thrones haha and the place where the emperor and empress spent their wedding night!-.- and there was this place which has a small door at the side of the building where apparently the concubines will go through when selected(yes the emperor chooses every night haha if i nvr rmb wrongly) and then yeah. but this door is sealed cos of the qixi empress! and i cant rmb much le! ):
day3 [241108]: beijing
we went to the GREAT WALL OF CHINA today!
look! that's me -.- that's just a part of the great wall lah!
i didnt really climb a lot cos i got scared ): i think it's cos of the height lah plus the VERY IRREGULAR STEPS! i kinda wonder how the soldiers last time managed to build such a thing without cars, modern transport etcetc. how they manage to get up there in time etcetc lah!
oh then after that we went to the ming tombs where 13 out of the 16 emperors of the ming dynasty were buried. it has a very huge statue of one of the emperors there. and we didnt see much here lah.
then we went to this hot spring place lah. we had dinner there and watched a show there. there was the qian shou guan yin thing yups! then they had synchronised swimming and ice-skating(which kinda made me have an urge to try iceskating) but it was kinda sleep-inducing at some points oops!
we didnt go for the hot spring lah and my mother didnt go cos of me :D haha and anw most of the women on the same bus as us didnt go or rather ALL OF THE FEMALES haha! cos the bath area right the place where u go in to bathe right has NO DOOR! haha so erm when they went in they had a free show and a shock of their lives hahaha. but it was better than japan's i suppose cos at least they dont go to the hot spring area without anything on -.- that day ended quite late ):
we went to eat the beijing roasted duck one of this days! nice nice yummy! : D
day4 [251108]: beijing
day5 [261108]: beijing to tianjin to chengde
i shall merge both days cos i cant really rmb where did we go first or whatever! ): (and i think i mixed up the order of all the places i went to ): )
we went to the summer palace! IT IS SUPER BIG as expected. and i cant rmb much about it haha. all i rmb is that IT IS SUPER BIG and we WALKED ALOT! and erm if i am not wrong this is the place with the animal sculptures on the rooftops(but i guess all the erm palaces and stuff have roofs like this) and very big urns(is that what you call it) where they wld fill it with water to prevent fire(i dont know how though)
oh then we took a trishaw ride touring the 胡同 hutongs.
haha those are the trishaws! along the way right, we saw some trishaw riders gambling lah hahaha! and then apparently we passed by jet li's previous school haha.oh then we went to wang fu jin. it's beijing's orchard road! hahaha and we went into this bookstore and bought CDs haha, not books -.- the CDs there are cheaper lah like more than half price lah compared to singapore's. and there's a food street there too. apparently there's those kind of deep fried scorpions etc etc but we didnt go in cos there wasnt time ):
and i cant rmb what happened omg. oh i think we went for a show. it's some shaolin temple show! kungfu is damn proded lah haha. and there were diff types mimicking different animals! the frog one was cute!(: and it had ballet in it too hahaha.
in tianjin we went to eat the goubuli bao haha. nothing special lah. and we went to their food street where we bought nice nice sugar coated hawthorn 山楂 and it's really nice : D i nearly bought the chocolate too(which singapore has) but got stopped by my father cos chocolate has milk ): and then we bought 麻花 too! it's brown and looks like braids! haha i think singapore has a version of it too but my mother says it's different.
then we went to the cultural street! i bought my tuner there! for 20sgd :D hahaha we were bargaining with the person lahhh :D and i am sad they dont have it in black even though the box says it has black. ): they had a few musical instrument shops lah and i saw a hu which is bigger than the zhonghu haha and i saw the banhu jinhu blahblahblah. and a lot of musical instruments haha =.= and then there were shops selling all those pretty stuff i dont know what to call them! haha. and there was this shop selling stuff made of clay too.
oh then we went to a factory which makes 景泰蓝 i think that's the chinese word for it. the way those handicrafts are made is like wow! haha and it's so pretty obviously the price is pretty too.
oh then we made our way to chengde. it was such a long trip lah! we were still on the roads when it became dark(the sky is dark at 4plus haha) until like 7plus lorh. and the sky is so clear and it has pretty stars! (reminds me of obs haha there were many stars in the sky at pulau ubin too)
and chengde is damn cold!
day6 [271108]: chengde to beijing
the hotel breakfast is horrible lah. and the hotel's breakfast area can only fit 500 ppl but apparently there's 800ppl staying there so we were there early and waiting outside together with other kiasu people haha! i cleverly thought some brown pickles were beehoon/noodles lah and when i bit into it, it was so ): lah and the food is cold! the better stuff are the cake and smth else which i cant rmb.
i missed the beijing hotel's ham and cheese omelette and nice pastries and wonderful sugar doughnut and the wide variety of food and fruit juices! and yummy century egg porridge!
we went to some erm fengshui place lah(i think it's either in chengde or tianjin).
this is a sign they put up there!
it does make sense lah but it's funny for a while haha. and i didnt know the fuwas created for the olympics had smth to do with fengshui too leh! haha.we went to the imperial summer resort on this day! it's the place where the emperor used to go to during summer to avoid the heat in beijing. chengde is colder than beijing lah so the lakes were FROZEN and it was super cold like yeah i had to wear thermal, then longsleeved shirt, 2 wool sweaters and my jacket can and i had to wear 2 pairs of wool socks lahh and of course jeans!
and anw i think the emperor then lived a super super super luxurious life lahhhh! we had to take a bus like thingy to get from one place to another lah can! -.- this shows HOW BIG IT IS.

nicknamed 男人山cos it's like er 顶天立地 haha but erm my mother found another reason for its name today and it's so damn -.- and ____ and i am surprised i took so fast to get it hahaha oh no not a good sign! you can guess what is the other reason for it hahaha!
oh and btw it's totally natural okay! as in the rock/mountain haha!
look at the frozen lake! ppl are like ice skating on it lah!! which made my urge grow stronger haha is there such an expression!

the youngest person in the whole tour group! she's only 3 and she can speak so fluently lahh! so cute right she! one of the days in the toilet while i was waiting for my mother right, she passed me her hello kitty calculator(which she thinks is a phone) and asked me to hold it for her -.- then she asked me to give her my number hahaha -.- SO CUTE! then one of the days when we were having dinner right i put my elbow on the table lah then rest my head on my hand then she was like "dont put ur hand on the table!" haha! then she called me black jiejie for 1 min only lah. then she was asking her mother why everyone was wearing black hahaha!
cos there was this day when she got very fond of this guy who's 16 lah haha then she called him black gorgor black gorgor everywhere then erm according to her mother she was giggling and telling her that black gorgor talked to her, "LIKE A TEENAGER(i quote her mother)" hahaha! then her mother was saying that she was very worried cos it's "TOO EARLY TO START ANYTHING" omg it made me laugh for some reason lah -.-
U SEE WE ARE STANDING ON THE FROZEN LAKE! and my father looks like a terrorist(according to the local guide, that is the proper way to make FULL USE of the scarf haha) -.- and we all look like dumplings ): so sadddd! it's so cold you know!
oh that is a deer! they are not tamed lorh!
oh i went to mongolia know! to visit shiyun there -.- okay jkjk she wasnt at mongolia and i wasnt at mongolia either. it's just one of the "attractions" there? those are the huts that the mongolians lived in! it's now a hotel lah! 2 ppl to a hut haha!we had a very long ride back to beijing after that! so tiring! i was sleeping lahhh haha! everyday started early and ended late so i was super tired almost everyday! :/

oh then we went to da guan yuan, which is like the place related to hongloumeng haha! and this is what we saw!
haha they are filming something! i think smth for cny bah since the women are wearing red cheongsams/qipaos(what do you call them :/) and it's so cold i wonder how they can survive lah!
this guy is damn pro okay! he write with both hands at the same time and the left side ones are the mirror images of the words on the right side! and he use water to write btw haha.oh then we went to happy valley, which is a amusement park lah. that place is lifeless! IT'S LIKE REALLY SUPER DEAD! and i only took 1 ride lah so sad ): some are so scary and then what motion sickness, ppl with high blood pressure etc cant take and i cant possibly take myself cos it's not fun so whatever ): then er when we finally settled on taking that ride right, the guy asked my father if he has high blood pressure, heart disease etc hahaha! i think it's cos my father has white hair haha! -.-
then er we watched a show there. it's called the golden mask dynasty! I SLEPT DURING ONE OF THE PARTS cos i have no idea what it is about lah. the only thing i know is there is a king and a queen and both are like fighting(and no it's not some lover's tiff or whatever lah. and they werent married or anything of that sort) then erm somehow they fell in love then erm there was a flood in the queen's erm empire(is that what u call it) then er she sacrificed herself lah then everyone was very sad and mourning lorh.
oh the flood part was VERY SPECTACULAR! there was like a waterfall like thing ON STAGE leh. it was really like wow! i woke up at that part haha. :D the other parts were sleep-inducing oops.
then we had our last dinner in beijing!
the restaurant had a LIVE SEAL lah! and people can feed it too. and it's SO DAMN BIG! -.- i think its tank is small for it lah. limited moving space ):
we went to 秀水街 again! it's not a street lah. haha -.- oh and my mother bought a winter jacket haha. we learnt that in the night, the shopkeepers arent very keen on earning your money lah. they will just offer you a price, if you want it you take it if not then they will just let you go lah. haha so not very good to buy in the night.
there was the mtv awards show on mtvchina channel that night lahh and i reached the hotel just in time to watch luo zhi xiang receive his prize and perform haha! :D
oh and my nose bled that night for the first time in the 8 days ):
day8 [291108]:beijing to singapore
my nose bled again in the morning and it was the worst one lah): and i was having a sore throat ):
in the morning we went to ya show again! :D and i got 2 shirts and a jacket!! :D super satisfied lah haha(: i am easily contented haha!
had lunch at kfc lah. couldnt eat the deep fried chicken stuff so i ate a grilled chicken burger :D yumyum it was nice lahh super tasty to me! and in singapore there wont be such a thing can! :D
then we went into the supermarket again and bought pepsi :D

then we made our way to the airport! and when we were there, my nose bled for the third time lah D: and i think i looked stupid holding a tissue to my nose lah. we bought 鲍鱼酥 from the airport hahaha and it tastes nothing like abalone lah =.=
when we FINALLY got on to the plane and settled down, the flight was delayed again and again lah!
oh btw this is the screen thingy and the handset! i was surprised i saw this lah cos the other planes i took all had the handset at the side lahh!
we waited till it was dark lah(and i watched the sunset on the plane! haha) until the plane finally left the airport! i actually fell asleep while waiting so when i woke up i was super super super irritated cos the plane hasnt left and the person behind me was kicking the seat and being super irritating! D: haha
oh and we reached singapore at 1055pm! took a cab with a very huge boot which can fit all our luggages! (:

slept till super late cos i slept at like almost 2 the day before haha. still had sore throat but fisherman's friend "cured" me haha! :D
went for a wedding dinner in the night with a bad headache ): and i was thought to be working again D: and someone said i had lin qing xia feel omg ): maybe cos i was wearing contacts and didnt tie my hair haha.
oh and i vomited all the shark's fin(which i still feel that we shouldnt eat ): ), abalone, chicken, mango sago with ice cream, etcetc out ):

went to another wedding today! it was much grander today and it was at shangri-la haha! so we passed by rg on the way =.= they had nachos on the tables outside lah! :D
oh and the serving of food is quite slow cos they serve us individually lah. but other than that it was quite okay! the food was nice too! MANGO SAGO again but this time with strawberries and pomelo and there was SHARK'S FIN(i still think we shldnt eat it ):) WITH ABALONE haha.
i started this post on 1dec haha and finished this post on 9dec. i took such a long time! :/
oh and my phone rocks at throwing tantrums! it was konky the past few days lah so irritating! ):
oh and btw i think i missed out on a lot of stuff lah soo too bad! and i think i repeated stuff haha ): and there arent a lot of photos so awww!
