First stop of the day was the Taipa Ferry Terminal.
We reached at around 1050am with our etickets for the 12pm ride, and surprisingly the woman at the counter gave us a FREE upgrade to the first class for the 11am ride. So zoom zoom off we went~
First class= free drink and tidbits hahaha.
But throughout that one hour ride, all i did was watch "Dad, where are you going" lol which i kinda downloaded for the plane rides cos i expected myself to not be able to sleep. The kids in the show are just too cute~
Anyway the ride was a little choppy and we cant see anything from the windows. But it's okay we got to disembark first and so we queued for a shorter time at immigration.
Lunch was this. Sun Kee's Cheese Noodles with Pork Chop.
I tell you, this place was hard to find. We went to the one at Kimberly Road or something which was near our hotel. Nearly wanted to give up but luckily we went into the building and there it was.
There's another version with Pork Neck and it was vavavoom HAHA the pork neck that is. Super fatty super sinful but super yummy. The pork chop was like dtf's so nothing special there. But cheese noodles yummy eh though it's just maggi mee but i like maggi mee. Must eat it while it's hot though ohhh that cheesy goodness. Comfort food at its best.
And then we had dessert at Hui Lau Shan.
Don't exactly fancy mango so I had the mango pudding (on the left) which had coconut icecream on top and mango pieces at the side. Mango pudding was yummy but coconut icecream was not (too icy ie can eat the ice bits).
Then off we went to Langham Place to walk see. Walked into H&M and walked out cos it's WAY TOO CROWDED to properly look and i hate crowds kinda.
LIKE THIS KINDA CROWDS. This was in mongkok (which we walked to from tsim sha tsui lol). It's like the raffles place/tanjong pagar crowd after office hours or even worse. Thank goodness the weather is cooling so it wasnt that gross squeezing with everyone.
Went window shopping at Argyle Shopping Centre but it was way too crowded (yet again) so we went over to New Town next door (there's this level which is connected with Argyle i think) which was quieter but the things were less diverse/not as nice/more ex I think. Didn't get anything though cos it's all winter clothing and i think i have enough sweaters already oops.
In the night we went over to Central for wanton mee x2. They cordoned off the area and had police in the area, most probably because it's christmas eve and lan kwai fong was just around the corner.
Stop #1: Mak's Noodles
Wanton Mee.
SUPER YUMZ. But small bowl la.
My dad's Wanton and 牛腩 noodles.
Then we crossed over to Stop #2: Tsim Chai Kee
Wanton Mee.
This had a weird taste i do not like, though the wanton's bigger.
Fishball, Beef slices and Wanton Noodles.
Overall still like Mak's better.
Passed by A&F on the way back lolol second time going into an A&F store in my lifetime.
