FIRST DAY 26 nov
left the house at around 9 plus 10 plus..and we had the rudest taxi driver ever haha HE DIDNT COME OUT TO HELP WITH THE LUGGAGE and left us to struggle haha until i said rather loudly something along the lines of oh wow this taxi driver is so helpful or something like that then he came out haha. before that he was meddling with his calendar(which he always looked at during the ride-.-) and then my father and him talked talked talked as usual that kind of conversation to kill the silence haha.
walked around in the departure hall area then sat around at the boarding gates and then it was finally our turn to get onto the plane! haha i watched two shows! UP and WHERE THE TRUTH LIES/ITAEWON MURDER CASE(got jang keun suk inside lahh hwang taekyung in you're beautiful!) haha..where the truth lies is a little bit scary cos it's about a murder case lehh then got show a person stabbing another person many times thenn the blood spurt out! and they repeat that a few times also but then that's the only scary part lah.. jang keun suk spoke in english throughout the show haha cos he's supposedly some american korean or smth..okay whatever that's not the main point.
so we reached TAO YUAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT at around 4 plus 5 plus..couldnt find the person who was supposed to pick us up at first so we were quite worried haha..then we found him and left for the hotel on a van with another family.
along the way, we passed by the zhong xiao fu xing area and we spotted ESPRIT haha my mother was damn sad cos she didnt bring her ESPRIT card haha. oh and we spotted DIN TAI FUNG! :D
okay then we reached our hotel lah. quite a good first impression lah (: i said A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION. it turned out to be not very good in the end. more details later haha
dinner was some beef noodles thingy at xi men ding (yeah our hotel was within walking distance to xi men ding so we went there almost every night haha) i had a very small appetite that day so didnt finish it.. i was still sick see haha
SECOND DAY 27 nov
woke up early in the morning for breakfast and i was disappointed. even though it's buffet style lah..(and we had ALMOST the same food every morning-.- except for the day i ate my donut which wasnt very nice after being left in the fridge overnight)
we followed the one day tour which is part of our free and easy package to various places.
haha and i have a very very very strong impression of the tour guide haha i feel tempted to draw her and i shall haha even though it's on the com hmm
haha i just drew her but i wont post it haha.. anw i have a strong impression of her because of her hair mm and her ultra super white face with her red lips (colour filled in not based on the shape of her lips but shape she wants her lips to be like).. oh and her rather strong hong kong accent lahh haha
first we went to the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall 中正纪念堂
nothing much there lah..
okay then i forgot where we went to hahaha :/
but i rmb there's this place where there are super stoned guards haha and everyone will fight to take a picture with them haha. (but i didnt haha) then if i didnt rmb wrongly there's a temple inside or smth mmhm but i cant rmb what's the place called
then i cant rmb where we went lahhhh!

oh then we went to this place for hotpot lunch! (: half of it was the 麻辣 one and the other half was the normal one haha.. the 麻辣 one was spicy okay haha.. not like laksa/chilli crab kind of spicy but spicier haha!
okay then we went to this place called 九份 it's something like an old town? haha i dont know how to describe the place.. it's on top of a hill and so it's very misty mm and full of alleys haha.. there's this very famous store there called 阿信的店 (mayday fans, please dont get excited haha it's not that ah xin haha) and then we bought LOTS of mochi from there haha (super nice lah their mochi haha)

okay and now i cant rmb whether this happened before jiu fen or after jiu fen but whatever okayy haha erm
we went to the national palace museum 国立故宫博物馆 to see 白菜 and 三层肉 haha AND NOW I RMB THAT WE WENT TO THIS PLACE BEFORE LUNCH HAHAHAHA! (cos i rmb the tour guide saying that she's bringing us to see the 白菜 and 三层肉 so that we will be hungrier and eat more or smth -.-) anyway the 白菜 is some kind of jade carving lah and the 三层肉 is a rock that looks like a 三层肉 haha.. and they didnt make me hungry lol
anw the system they use there is rather good haha..they provide earphones for us and a mic kinda thing for the tour guide so that we can hear her talk through the earphones instead of having her and other tour guides shout..
okay so after jiu fen we went to this place where they sell tienlu/tianlu lahh then ermm they offer services like looking at ur name and telling ur character haha..and IM STUBBORN haha true true very true :D haha and the person said other things haha..for some reason he spoke in cantonese lah so some parts ididnt quite understand..
then we went to 维格饼家 where they sell absolutely fabulous 凤梨酥 and cheesecake and beef jerky :DD everyone who goes to taiwan must go there to buy foodstuff okay! we spent like 100+ just on foodstuff alone there lahh haha (inclusive of stuff to give ppl lah) and i got a slice of cake to last me through the journey to the hot springs and at the hot springs itself.
we went to the hot springs at 北投 i think.. but i didnt go for the hot springs lahh.. so i have nth to say about this.. i was just there to eat my cake and wait for my father while the ppl who chose not to go for the hot springs were already at shihlin!
okay then we finally got to shihlin士林!!! and i tell you ahhh go to stores with ALOT of ppl haha..cos we went to a store with not a lot of ppl to eat their oyster meesua and orh ah jian (oyster omelette) and their meesua isnt nice at all and the place was rather dusty and dirty yeah..BUT i got to drink 珍珠奶茶 and eat 豪大大鸡排, which is ABSOLUTELY TASTY AND YUMMY! the meat was like tender and then the seasoning is just nice~ even though there was a long queue and they didnt cut it for us and the bone is still present..and guess what it's only NT50! that's like only arnd 2SGD lorhh! (now i dont feel like buying ji pai from those places that sell it for 3.50)
anyway there's two parts to shihlin one of it is the shopping district kind and the other one is the food one which is what i mentioned above..
it was late already so we took a taxi ride home. and i tell you ahh it's like taking a rollercoaster ride LITERALLY. haha he drove at like such fast speeds and zoomed zoomed zoomed arnd all the way to the hotel haha..
THIRD DAY 28nov
we went to the eslite bookshop, which is the 24hour bookshop..didnt really look at the books haha but then i saw this erm BOF 写真集 which was selling for like arnd SGD80+ crazy right! oh and there's apparently some 旺福 event happening later in the day..then we walked to the sogo area from there.. was hoping that we can pass by one of the many restaurants opened by jay chou but we didnt lah cos it's not on the way and it's not that impt haha.. okay then we went to sogo didnt buy anything except CDs (weird right o.O) actually i think the cheapest things there might be the CDs haha lol okay maybe not true.. i found out later that i bought it for a higher price than at normal CD shops outside..
AND THEN WE ATE AT DIN TAI FUNG!! after like 1 hour and 40 minutes +++ of waiting haha. the 炸酱面 is SO SO SO NICE :D (and it's not cos we were hungry okay!) but the fried rice wasnt really nice compared to singapore's..oh but their xiaolongbaos are the same!
okay then in the night we went to xi men ding again! and went to the 2nd idol merchandise store haha :D ohh and we had cantonese porridge for dinner! and my father drank this bittergourd drink..the bittergourd there was WHITE lehh so cool eh?
and then i watched a bit of 百万大歌星 and 超级偶像 on tv! the tv sucked lahh the sound system wasnt really good and then the reception for certain channels was bad aiz! (there's this day when the cleaners were cleaning the suite for our level and we saw that that room had a LCD tv lahhh damn jealous) but they had 2 korean channels haha i was hoping to watch the last episode of you're beautiful on thurs but it wasnt the right channel haha ):
FOURTH DAY 29nov
took the mrt to 淡水 and walked arnd the area.. then we got to the 淡水渔人码头 by bus! it's too far to walk haha.. the place is very nice and windy haha

淡水渔人码头the place isnt very big lorh actually but it's a nice place to erm relax haha! oh there's this guy who was playing this special kind of instrument and this is how he and his instru looked like! (the sound was quite ghostly and eerie haha)

okay then we had MOS BURGER FOR LUNCH!! :D oh and i ate this SUPER LONG ice cream :D
mmhm then we left danshui and went to wu fen pu ! but i didnt buy anything (so unlike me haha) and i was actually the one who suggested gg back to xi men ding lorh haha OH OH OH BUT I HEARD THE FIRST EVAN YO SONG I HEARD IN TAIWAN~
oh i ate baked rice for dinner haha it's not very nice compared to swensen's haha butttt they had NICE MUSIC :D haha they played like 4/5 songs from evan yo's newest album lahh :D
OH OH OH AND THAT WAS ALSO THE NIGHT I WENT TO STAGE :D it's the shop at 开封街 ! even though it's quite ulu compared to the very bright and lively main xi men ding area, the interiors of the shop were nice yeah yeah! there were two floors lahh even though the shop's quite narrow but it goes quite deep in lah..the first floor's for stage and the basement is for manhatten portage..and i wanted the jacket on the sales staff ): im sad they didnt have any more for that colour! but anyway i didnt buy anything know haha in fact my father bought something HAHA :D did i really not buy anything from stage? cant believe it? read on hahaha! anw ah STAGE SINGAPORE sells the same stuff for a much higher price lorh like arnd 10 bucks more..
AND GIVEN THAT IT WAS A SUNDAY AND I WAS BACK AT THE HOTEL EARLY...
i watched 海派甜心ep5 on GTV at 8pm and ep6 on CTV at 10pm!! :D it was the day 薛海 appeared! (anyway i think he's damn qianbian lah whenever he anyhow treat the girls haha even though he's DAMN SHUAI and cool and rich haha)

the nice nice christmas deco they have inside! MERRY CHRISTMAS~
i forgot what's the ball-like golden thing for already! but it's something that all super tall buildings like the taipei 101 have to have if i didnt rmb wrongly! oh and the silver thing on the right is the taipei 101 mascot haha! :D
we got tickets(damn ex lahh like arnd 16SGD for ONE person) and went up to the 89th(if i didnt rmb wrongly) floor by the lift..it's damn cool inside the lift lah cos they have the screen showing the speed of the lift,the height we are at now,and where we are in the taipei 101(they actually show this "animation" of the lift moving up the taipei 101) etcetcetc..oh and the lift was damn fast haha :D and it had a super cool ceiling haha which makes ppl feel like they are in space haha!
so we walked arnd the 89th floor but it was rather misty so we couldnt really see much lahh but the cars on the roads really looked like ants haha..and then we went up to the 90th/91st floor which was outdoor but there was nth much to see due to the mist so we watched the taipei 101 video haha -.- okay then we went down to the 88th floor and it was damn cool lahh cos we had to walk through this maze-like thing to look at the golden ball-like thing and then we went back to the 5th storey(if i didnt rmb wrongly)
oh then we went down to the basement area! i ate macs for lunch haha! it was damn cheap lahh NT79(SGD3.55) for a mcchicken meal (and the drink was bigger than a regular one lorhh) oh and then my parents ordered food from the food court so we had oyster omelette again! haha and then for desert, we shared a bowl of 豆花 haha
due to the fact that most of the shops in taipei 101 are rather high-end, we left the place and looked for STAGE 忠孝店!!! we actually walked a LONG LONG LONG LONG way haha just to find it lorhhh cos that entire road was damn long haha..and we actually missed it at first but the very observant me realised it so we walked backwards and walked into this smaller lane haha and we still had to walk walk walk haha..oh and i actually saw MANHATTEN PORTAGE's sign before seeing the STAGE one haha..and then we walked in and realised that there's lesser stuff here than at the other shop and we realised it's because the shop's mainly for manhatten portage..so we left without buying anything COS THEY DONT HAVE THE JACKET I WANT TOO ): okay so we left! but that's not the end of my STAGE journey in taipei haha..
on the way, we ate at MISTER DONUT for teabreak (and i tell you ahh their 泼堤 are dammmmn nice lahh i cant rmb if it's written like that though haha) oh and i saw the 欣叶 restaurant that claudia recommended but cos it's too early for dinner so we didnt eat it, so wasted rightt!

so we took the mrt to miramar! haha but at one of the interchanges(i think it happened on this day) i saw the following and i was like half-crazy haha..(i didnt go to taiwan with a lzx craze but when im there, the craze came haha cos i see him(NOT THE REAL PERSON LAH!) quite frequently)
hehe THE SUPER BIG BANNER :D i saw a mini van with his ad for the same thing too on another day but then i was looking at the ad on some lamp post thing thing for the same thing hahaha so i didnt realise the van early enough so i couldnt take a photo of it!
okay so after we reached miramar, it was still not openn so i was damn bored and took pics of the cute christmas deco and the ferris wheel which appeared in 换换爱 if im not wrong!

so we went into miramar after it opened and walk walk see see and guess who i saw?!

it looks funny and weird on the outside right and you wont even think of it as a restaurant right! but when you go in, it's actually quite cool! apparently it's built by a woman for women or smth like that haha..i dont really know cos i didnt exactly read the intro..
but the food there is rather nice~~ i like the chicken the best :DDDD

after eating our very nice lunch, we took the mrt and became making our way to the next place.. on the way to DIN TAI FUNG, ICE MONSTER AND 师大夜市, we passed by this very nice park and so we took a rest there haha!there was nth much to shop along the way so i got bored and tired haha, but when i saw DIN TAI FUNG, my eyes lit up!! :D this time the shop is along the main road lah haha..but it was too early for dinner so we went to eat at ICE MONSTER
they didnt have the mango stuff cos it was out of season ):
so after dessert, we walked around that area to spend time haha..
and then we had dinner at DIN TAI FUNG! i wasnt exactly hungry but i finished my delicious bowl of 炸酱面 all by myself :DDDD
anw the staff at din tai fung(just like most taiwanese) are so helpful lahh! one of them offered to give us this thing to put our bags in and then she helped us cover it with a cloth and another offered to tell us how to go to 师大夜市 cos my father was looking at the map..
anw the toilet there was super clean too haha :D and the prices there are lower than singapore's!
okay so we went to 师大夜市!!!!! 师大 is short for 国立台湾师范大学!! which is where evan yo studied at haha! AND I ACTUALLY WALKED PAST THE ENTRANCE TO THE 音乐系 OKAY! the entrance which he went in and out of haha :D
okay then we went to the 师大夜市..nth much lah haha all 夜市s are about the same haha..we didnt see the 八方雲集 that yingting recommended(but we still got to try it somewhere else!)
okay then i think we went back to the hotel!!
SEVENTH DAY 2dec
WE WENT TO THE TAIPEI ZOOOOO!!:D haha i actually wanted to go to the aquarium at first but then of course the zoo is better yeah!so we saw 团团 and 圆圆!
i cant differentiate which is which haha but im sure these two are not the same panda! so cute right!!! :D
okay then we saw many many other animals too but not worth mentioning lah haha! so we spent a lot of time there looking at animals :D
then after gg to the zoo, we went to this underground shopping mall and we finally got to try the 八方雲集 guoties and shuijiaos haha NICE LEH haha :D i prefer the guotie though..i dont actually like to eat these kind de so for me to say it's nice ahh then it's really nice haha :D
then we went to the huahsi tourist night market (cant rmb what is it called actually) they actually have shops selling adult stuff OPENLY lahhh haha and i think there are that kind of women around too you know that kind of women haha..cos i saw this woman approaching men and then the men just ignore her haha..so shld be right?
and then i ate 卤肉饭 and oyster omelette for dinner!! :D

(hahaha for the past few minutes, i have been staring at the super junior M's performance on 百分百 haha! and that few minutes became 1 hour haha)
okay then we went back to the hotel lahh
EIGHTH DAY 3dec
it's the last day in taipei BOO HOO HOO HOOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOOOOOOO ):
i woke up later and then we ate 阿宗meesua at 西门町!
SUPER DUPER NICE LAHHH :D nicer than the one we ate at shihlin lorhh ! :D
then we walked arnd 西门町 for the VERY VERY VERY LAST TIME ):
and then it was time to go back to the hotel and wait for the person to come and fetch us to the airport..
haha and for some reason I WAS HUNGRY lol and i went to the airport and ate this...
but the food there is rather nice~~ i like the chicken the best :DDDD

after eating our very nice lunch, we took the mrt and became making our way to the next place.. on the way to DIN TAI FUNG, ICE MONSTER AND 师大夜市, we passed by this very nice park and so we took a rest there haha!there was nth much to shop along the way so i got bored and tired haha, but when i saw DIN TAI FUNG, my eyes lit up!! :D this time the shop is along the main road lah haha..but it was too early for dinner so we went to eat at ICE MONSTER

my nice passionfruit dessert! the black black cubes are caramel jelly(:
they didnt have the mango stuff cos it was out of season ):
so after dessert, we walked around that area to spend time haha..
and then we had dinner at DIN TAI FUNG! i wasnt exactly hungry but i finished my delicious bowl of 炸酱面 all by myself :DDDD
anw the staff at din tai fung(just like most taiwanese) are so helpful lahh! one of them offered to give us this thing to put our bags in and then she helped us cover it with a cloth and another offered to tell us how to go to 师大夜市 cos my father was looking at the map..
anw the toilet there was super clean too haha :D and the prices there are lower than singapore's!
okay so we went to 师大夜市!!!!! 师大 is short for 国立台湾师范大学!! which is where evan yo studied at haha! AND I ACTUALLY WALKED PAST THE ENTRANCE TO THE 音乐系 OKAY! the entrance which he went in and out of haha :D
okay then we went to the 师大夜市..nth much lah haha all 夜市s are about the same haha..we didnt see the 八方雲集 that yingting recommended(but we still got to try it somewhere else!)
okay then i think we went back to the hotel!!
SEVENTH DAY 2dec
WE WENT TO THE TAIPEI ZOOOOO!!:D haha i actually wanted to go to the aquarium at first but then of course the zoo is better yeah!so we saw 团团 and 圆圆!
i cant differentiate which is which haha but im sure these two are not the same panda! so cute right!!! :D
okay then we saw many many other animals too but not worth mentioning lah haha! so we spent a lot of time there looking at animals :D
then after gg to the zoo, we went to this underground shopping mall and we finally got to try the 八方雲集 guoties and shuijiaos haha NICE LEH haha :D i prefer the guotie though..i dont actually like to eat these kind de so for me to say it's nice ahh then it's really nice haha :D
then we went to the huahsi tourist night market (cant rmb what is it called actually) they actually have shops selling adult stuff OPENLY lahhh haha and i think there are that kind of women around too you know that kind of women haha..cos i saw this woman approaching men and then the men just ignore her haha..so shld be right?
and then i ate 卤肉饭 and oyster omelette for dinner!! :D
NICE NICE YUMMY YUMMY!(hahaha for the past few minutes, i have been staring at the super junior M's performance on 百分百 haha! and that few minutes became 1 hour haha)
okay then we went back to the hotel lahh
EIGHTH DAY 3dec
it's the last day in taipei BOO HOO HOO HOOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOO HOOOOOOO ):
i woke up later and then we ate 阿宗meesua at 西门町!
SUPER DUPER NICE LAHHH :D nicer than the one we ate at shihlin lorhh ! :D
then we walked arnd 西门町 for the VERY VERY VERY LAST TIME ):
and then it was time to go back to the hotel and wait for the person to come and fetch us to the airport..
haha and for some reason I WAS HUNGRY lol and i went to the airport and ate this...
NICE LU ROU FAN AND CAPPUCCINO! our last meal in taipei ):
then we went up the airplane and said byebye to taiwan SADDDD ): BUT i was super disappointed lahh the inflight entertainment system ahh dont know why the movies are like limited!!!and then the thing kena hang lorhh ): SO IN THE END I ENDED UP PLAYING POKEMON LOL AND MY POKEMON GREW TO LIKE LEVEL 17/18 LIKE THAT LORH haha :D
okay that's all for my taiwan, taipei trip :D (and i actually finished this post on 18dec lol 2 weeks after i come back oops)
