i am back from the 3D2N camp at chaoyang and i tell you it was such an enriching and memorable experience manz!:D shall take about the main things that happen each day!(:

DAY1 130309
outing to terminal 3!
i was quite sad that we couldnt go to botanic gardens cos of the rain cos jovenna sheena carissa and i went there to look look see see the day before. but good thing is that i wont have another patch of weird insect bites on my arms. terminal 3 is REALLY BIG i just realised cos we went to this part of the terminal that i have never been to before haha. and i took the changi airport skytrain for the first time in my life! :D hahaha

sing and dance along in the night!
the children were so engaged in this activity! :D they were all singing along to the songs they normally sing and now i am hooked onto the song "Cant Smile Without You" :D it's nice okay!

slept at like 1 plus after bathing and a few ghost stories from alifya(which i didnt listen to cos i covered my ears). i didnt want to end up having nightmares in a foreign place and end up screaming in the middle of the night and waking everyone (including ms ko and phs people) up. see i am so considerate! :D



DAY2 140309

Meiying left early early in the morning so i was left with the guy volunteer who is always in charge of getting Samuel (a chaoyang boy who is quite hard to control) whenever he wanders away. i feel mean heh. but he left without telling me and i was left with 4 kids so who's meaner. hmph. but for those parts right, we were having concert preparation! and my group did with alifya's group. and i think Eugene is super cute hahaha. MINUS THE FACT THAT HE CALLED ME MAMA =.= AND ANOTHER GUY PAPA. AND SAID GOOD MORNING PAPA TO YET ANOTHER GUY LATER ON. i choose to believe that he didnt call me that. i choose to believe that he called alifya that. ^^ oh he keeps his mouth open lah and when he talks there's this gargling sound i think it's interesting! then he has this blur look on his face. -.-

campfire at presbyterian high in the night!
it's a fake campfire lahh. with lightsticks and all. but the darkness + the flickering light from the long torchlights given to the children by us + camera flashes made my migraine that lasted the whole day MUCH MUCH WORSE. ): sang camp songs and danced camp dances. the tribal dance like thing scared me haha. but after that get used to it le then not so bad? their school culture is so so different lahh. so it's like an eye opener. i can never imagine rgs people being so high and all that. my opinion lah that is. haha then that was when shi tian had an encounter....



DAY3 150309
concert!
i dont know if it can be considered successful haha, but for my group the volunteers ended up singing for them? cos i can only hear our voices!): but the song at the end which happens to be cant smile without you is so wen xin lahhhh (:

the thing ended at around 1130 and then all the volunteers went around cleaning the place!
claudia shiyun me left at 1215 and rush rush rush home to eat+ bathe then rush rush rush to school. ended up being late ):




SYF rehearsal.
our one and only rehearsal at SCH. and i didnt do my best ): i still cant believe i actually forgot the whole chunk at the start lahhh when i already memoed ): it better not happen on the real day. D: i dont like my new seat. it's so squeezy and i have to like sit sideways so as to have enough space for gong and how weird would that look man. and then we are quite far away from the rest of zhonghu so sad. but it's actually the same arrangement as the 2007 syf but it feels different haha maybe cos this time i am infront and i can see everything and everyone more clearly ): some seniors came down! so it got scarier! ): i bet everyone can see zhonghu's ugly markings on the hu gan4 ): booooooooooooooooo. some j1s came back tooo (and vianne came wearing her star necklace!) and they said they will come back next prac OH NO ):
aizzzzz. syf is like coming so soon. are we ready enough?
